E4A e' in possesso da oggi dell'Autorizzazione generale per le reti e i servizi di comunicazione elettronica, in aggiunta alle pre esistenti Autorizzazioni generali come Internet Service Provider e Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). Questa autorizzazione rappresenta la tipologia di autorizzazione piu' ampia resa disponibile dal Codice delle Comunicazioni, e consente agli operatori autorizzati di attivare servizi avanzati su fibra ottica direttamente gestita, la richiesta di frequenze esclusivamente assegnate in uso per ponti radio a lunga distanza ed alte prestazioni, e tutta una serie di attivita' e strutture a supporto dei servizi di trasmissione dati.
