...perdonate l'inesperienza, ma sarei interessato a provare l'ipv6 (pura curiosità personale). Conscio che questa scelta non porterà migliorie, vorrei comunque provarci, anche in virtù del passaggio futuro da ipv4 a ipv6.
Sostanzialmente il problema è che non sò come e dove introdurre i dati... nonostante abbia cercato qualche tutorial online.

Dipende dalla topologia della tua rete locale e dal tuo sistema operativo. Se hai un router normale difficilmente supporterà IPv6 con il suo firmware originale.

ok, supponiamo che intenda aver accesso ad internet col protocollo ipv6, cosa devo fare?
L'apparato ovviamente è quello dell'e4a, mentre qui giro sotto xp, sp3. |

non ci ho mai messo le mani direttamente, però penso che per quella che è la natura di IPv6 non devi fare tanto...ti basta che il tuo apparato e4a supporti questo protocollo e che ti venga assegnata la tua rete v6. Poi devi avere installato sul client l'IPv6.
A livello di configurazione non mi sembra sia necassario fare altro, dato che questa versione di IP è progettata per trovarsi da sè il default gateway e i server DNS di riferimento grazie all'indirizzamento anycast.
Ah, logicamente se tra il tuo PC e l'apparato E4A hai un router, pure quello deve essere compatibile con IPv6. |
